Labor Day ……… not summer …….. not autumn
But a little of both. Not the official ending of summer, and not the official beginning of autumn.
For many it’s a time to get away with family for one last get away before settling in for fall.
My labor day weekend was very low keyed this year.
No exciting trips out of town, no big BBQ’s, no ballgames and no parades.
Just relaxing and not laboring in the traffic, not laboring in the crowds, not laboring in the kitchen…
just chillin out and going with the flow.
Sunday afternoon leisurely walk around town … enjoying the scenery
Father and Daughter moment.
On the shelf of a local store, tin buckets looking sad and begging to be filled with sand from the beach.
Does those tin buckets ever take me back a few years.
With only 116 days before Christmas, the shops are displaying decorations as a reminder
we need to start our Christmas shopping.
Cute tee’s in a new store in town. How I chuckled when I saw this in the window.
Brings back memories too.
Happy Labor Day to you? Doing anything exciting today?
