Question….. When is Christmas music annoying
Answer……. When a young married girl is in labor waiting for a surprise Christmas Eve delivery
and the Christmas tunes are being played over and over
the hospital’s sound system.
Yep…. I was waiting and waiting on my firstborn sweet baby girl that seemed
reluctant to join the outside world.
Anticipation, Anxiousness, concern, apprehension, nervousness, unease…..
all these emotions …………..with Frosty the snowman, winter wonderland, Jingle bells and
every Christmas song you can think of in the background.
As December 23 ended and Christmas Eve arrived, my baby girl said OK…. think I will join the party.
Now with my baby in my arms, I didn’t mind hearing “JOY TO THE WORLD.”
I had picked out her name months ago, before I knew she would be a Christmas Eve baby.
I had read the name in ACTS. 8.
Her name is Candace. Of course that got shorten to Candy.
She is my Christmas candy.
Sweet lullaby’s on Christmas to my newborn baby.
Happy Birthday sweet girl… Mom was so proud of her baby girl and
now the awesome woman you have become.
As sweet as my Christmas story is to me,
Mary, your story is the sweetest and greatest Christmas story a mother could tell
in the history of time.
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judea
unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
to be taxed with Mary his exposed wife, being great with child.
And so it was, while they were there, the days were accomplished
that she should be delivered.
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes
and laid him in a manger;because there was no room for them in the inn.
